Temiskaming

Nature birthed a special place
Of majesty and awe

Scenery painted crisp and clear

Full brushstrokes without flaw

With rolling hills and valleys
Softly carpeted in forest green
Where rivers in abundance carve
Their depth through every scene

Lakes and ponds lend imagery
Waves calming and serene
Softly mirrored bank and sky
Framed upon its rippled screen

Heightened vista gifts caress
While senses ingest its view
Gentle captive of this place
Where heart and soul renew
