Riding Love's Tide

Going forward, oh what a task

On to love, too much to ask

Of me as I try to climb the crest

Toward love, but then I'll do my best

The many problems in my way

Make me want to wait for another day

But love is peace for every man

So I'll find my happiness if I can

So many men have tried and failed

So many men who's hopes have sailed

Away on life's tide of waves

A ripple sent there hopes away

I'll struggle forward and set a goal

Struggle on for peace of soul

Love is someplace on ahead

I'll struggle on love is not dead

What a task it is to climb the swell

Love goes with a tide of hell

But men who hope, try and do right

Will get there love, it is in sight

Love is somewhere waiting for

A man like me to open the door

Love surely someplace can be found

All there is to do is look around

See what treasures life does hold

Struggle on, be a little more bold

Struggle forward for love is there

There will be some one who will care

Now the tide is slowly ebbing out

My love is there it's all about

Before it starts to slip away

I'll ride the tide again today.
